Katie Eberle
Research Associate
Katie
Eberle is a Research Associate at the Heschong Mahone Group. She
specializes in market research and feasibility studies of Net-Zero
Energy building technologies, as well analysis of building efficiency
measures.
Katie
currently assists on projects relating to Very Low Energy, and Net-Zero
Energy building technologies at HMG. She
routinely gathers, organizes, and synthesizes widely-sourced product,
market, and climate information into a user-friendly format. She is also
involved in third-party verification of utility incentive programs.
Before
joining HMG, Katie was an intern at the green design firm
organicARCHITECT. While there, she participated in design charrettes on
the subjects of urban planning and sustainable residential housing, and
conducted research on low-energy/non-resource-intensive building
materials and fixtures for the firm’s inventory. Prior to this, Katie
spearheaded the adoption of a Sustainability Management Plan at Colorado
College.
Katie
Eberle holds a BA in Architecture and Sustainable Design, having
graduated with distinction from Colorado College in 2008.
