Luke Suhr - Research Associate

Mr. Suhr is a research associate with a background in mechanical and
electrical engineering. He is responsible for working with the
principals and with other project managers in support of HMG’s projects,
including telephone interviews, literature searches, data collection and
analysis, report writing, logistic coordination, and administrative
tasks. He has conducted daylighting analyses in support of changing the
ASHRAE 90.1 national energy code, and is currently working on the
modeling and analysis of data for PIER Hot Water Distribution Systems
Research.
Prior to joining HMG, he worked at the Idaho National Laboratory where
he analyzed experimental battery data using linear regression
techniques. He also spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in
Guyana, South America. During his service he taught math and physics to
secondary school students. Mr. Suhr received a M.S. in mechanical
engineering from the University of Arizona and a B.S. in electrical
engineering from Idaho State University.
