STAFF PROFILE
Stephen Wilson
Research Associate
Mr. Wilson is a
Research Associate at the Heschong Mahone Group, Inc, with a background
in physics and computer science. His responsibilities at HMG largely
support building science research efforts.
Stephen has provided
support for several building science-related projects at HMG. He has
been involved with Title 24 Codes and Standards, as well as several
research studies in the areas of lighting, hot water systems, and
building systems simulation and analysis. In addition, several of HMG’s
field study efforts have utilized his expertise in data monitoring
systems design, deployment and troubleshooting. Stephen also maintains
HMG’s internal network, databases, and servers, and other computer
systems, providing network admin support and general user assistance.
Before coming to HMG,
Mr. Wilson was employed with ENRG LLC, a small energy consulting
company. While at ENRG, he worked on an array of building energy
efficiency projects, including: creating energy simulation models for
several large multi-family buildings, reviewing CA Codes and Standards
change proposals, performing audit field work, and drafting energy
efficiency reports.
Mr. Wilson holds a B.S.
in Physics from the University of California Santa Barbara.
