Linda Murphy - Implementation Project Manager
 Ms
Murphy supervises Title 24 compliance analysis for HMG's residential and
multifamily projects. She is a certified energy analyst (CEA) and is a
board member of the California Association of Energy Consultants (CABEC).
As
Plan Review Manager at HMG, Ms Murphy has worked on the Designed for
Comfort multifamily energy efficiency program, and is currently working on
the California Multifamily New Homes Program in Northern California and
the 2006-2008 Designed for Comfort program in Southern California. She
reviews plans, energy files, and coordinates efforts between developer,
energy consultant, and HERS Rater.
Before
joining HMG, Ms Murphy was Title 24 Department Manager at Beutler
Corporation. She developed Title 24 energy compliance strategies for
production home builders, encouraged builder participation in utility
rebate programs, and coordinated builder and HERS rater activity. She
built working relationships with building department personnel, conducted
Title 24 energy code training and maintained schedules for builder T24
compliance documents.
Ms
Murphy has also worked as a Title 24 Energy Compliance Consultant (sole
proprietor). She prepared Title 24 Energy Compliance documentation for
residential and commercial buildings for home owners, architects, custom
home builders, and developers, as well as HVAC, electrical and building
contractors.

Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
