Program Overview
The
California Multi-Family New Homes (CMFNH) program sponsored by PG&E
facilitates and encourages energy-efficient design in multi-family
housing through design assistance, cash incentives and
Energy Star®
marketing benefits. The Heschong Mahone Group, Inc (HMG) is
administering this new construction energy efficiency program as a
third-party on behalf of PG&E in PY2010-2012.
The
CMFNH program offers
incentives to new construction multi-family projects in the PG&E
service territory. The program requires 15% above standard Title 24
minimum requirements.
CMFNH emphasizes
deep energy savings through integrated performance-based building
analysis. Common high efficiency measures include:
*Please note:
Photovoltaic systems (PV) do not count as an efficiency measure,
however, CMFNH will help you meet the New Solar Homes Partnership
‘Energy-Efficiency First’ requirements to qualify for additional
incentives for PV.
*Please note:
Appliances and lighting also do not count as an efficiency measure
when using the performance approach
